26C3: Here be Dragons

Between Christmas and New Year’s, hackers, geeks, technology visionaries, privacy advocates, net artists and tinkerers traditionally meet in Berlin to take stock, exchange ideas and dare to look ahead to the new year. More than three thousand participants are expected at the Berlin bcc at Alexanderplatz. For the first time, talks and workshops at over 35 distributed mini-conferences — the “Dragons everywhere” — from Vancouver to Moscow can also be followed together over the Internet.
